Is Xavi leaving? (Curated Post)

Of all recent Barcelona coaches who reach 50 games, Xavi has the worst record. He promised to lead Barcelona back to the top of La Liga and the Champions League. They are being eliminated and posibly  relegated from the champions league following defeat to Inter Milan in recent weeks. To complicate matters, Real Madrid defeated Barca 3-1 in yesterday's El Classico. Real had been in complete control of the game from start to finish. Although he is not in danger of losing his job, Xavi is being closely monitored.

Unfortunately for Xavi he does not have Messi, Neymar, and all the other great players that played for Barca in the pass. Unfortunately for Xavi, the pass does not include Messi, Neymar, or any of the other outstanding Barca players. He has one of the worst 50-game records in club history. Despite receiving greater backing from high management than previous coaches, he nonetheless must perform better. I largely disagree with the evaluation of Xavi's track record because, in comparison to previous managers, he did not inherit a roster full of outstanding players when he took the helm. Xavi ought to do better, but the fact that he led Barcelona from last season's bottom of the table to second place in la liga should count for something.
